Nate Bauer Joins the President's Office as Strategic Initiatives Coordinator

91麻豆天美 is pleased to welcome Nate Bauer as the new Strategic Initiatives Coordinator in the President's Office. Nate will focus primarily on the Arctic Leadership Initiative, collaborating with Larry Hinzman, and the Alaska Native Success Initiative, working with Kristel Komakhuk.
Nate brings extensive experience to this role, having served as the associate director and acquisitions editor at the University of Colorado Press, where he oversaw the University of Alaska Press imprint starting in 2021. He previously held roles as the director of the UA Press and the communications lead for UAF鈥檚 International Arctic Research Center.
A Fairbanks resident since 2010, Nate has worked in publishing, higher education, healthcare technology, and even the unique world of constituent correspondence for a U.S. Congressional office. He describes Alaska as home to some of the warmest and most direct people he's encountered.
